The official launch of the very first community health project of the Réseau Santé au Premier Plan
The inaugural event for the Réseau Santé au Premier Plan (R.S.P.P)’s pioneering community health project, ‘’3 ZEROS INITIATIVE, at the Yanfolila Reference Health Center’’ took place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 9 a.m. in the People’s Meeting Center of Yanfolila. This launch served as a precursor to World Blood Donor Day, celebrated annually on June 14. The event was attended by key stakeholders from the Yanfolila district, including the Prefect, Mayor, law enforcement, national guard, national police, civil protection teams, religious and traditional leaders, as well as women’s and youth organizations.

Additionally, alongside the launch ceremony, a blood drive was conducted, with Madam the Prefect leading by example as the first donor.
The inaugural event included free consultations and drug donations, with the village chief’s representative being the first beneficiary.
Activities which continued all day and which will continue throughout the project which will last 12 months and extend to all the communes of Yanfolila.
For this launch, 103 patients benefited from the free consultation and the donation of medicines.
